CVS is one of my fav stores. I get TONS of things for free from them. First step is to get a CVS card. You can go to any store and ask them for a card, or go to https://www.cvs.com/CVSApp/user/extracare/extracare.jsp;jsessionid=pz7TJK3GVXfqbLnW9lnP3LnpsVMr22dTXXKqhM97w77QhxFKnXsk!1692223870 and fill it out and they will mail it to you.
At CVS, when you buy certain items, for example, crest is 2.49, which you use, and have a coupon for 1.00 off so you pay 1.49 for the item. However, this week they are giving ECB's ( Extra Care Bucks) for the item, of 2.49. This is on the end of your receipt. This can be used at a later time for other specials, or if there is a higher limit such as 5 for the item, you can go back in and buy 1, with out a coupon ( or with a coupon and add a candy for 1.00) and get the item free!
CVS also has a great coupon spitting out machine :) It looks like a price scanner, which it is, but it also can print out coupons for your CVS shopping trip. ALWAYS scan your card. You can get 3.00 off 15.00 coupons, or various others that you may be able to use. Another thing to keep in mind your ECB's do expire. So use them in order that you receive them so that they do not expire. Also, you will find CVS coupons in little booklets around the store. These can be combined with manufacturer coupons, giving you a bigger discount on the item.
For example:
I have a coupon for 1.00 off of first aid products, and I also have another coupon that is a manufacturer coupon for 1.00 off to. I found some gauze for 2.00.. making this item free. This is a GREAT find for when you are trying to get your total up so you can use a 5 off 20 coupon. This Sunday is a big day for freebies at CVS and I will be posting some examples for you to read about and perhaps venture out to CVS to try for yourself :)
Happy couponing,
Crystal
